Greg Byrne (Flown in from Washington DC, thanks to Larry J's generosity with his sky miles) pitched a complete game shutout. The Townies also were throwing some serious leather to back up their ace.

In a game in which the Townies had a 5-0 lead heading into the  bottom of the 6th only to have the Brewers score 5 and tie it. Donnie Papineau smashed a long triple driving in Roberto Rodriquez to get the lead right back in the top of the 7th.

With a new life, Greg Byrne bared down and sealed the victory by striking out the final hitter with the tie run on second.

 

So the " rookie heavy upstart Boston Townies" beat the old townies/Brewers in a very intense game.
